Dean Streater

Principal Solicitor, Vincentia

Dean lives and practises law in the Vincentia area and is proud to be celebrating over a decade serving the local community from our offices at the corner of The Wool Road and Beach Street.

A dedicated family man with four children educated in local schools, Dean brings both personal insight and professional experience to his work. His path to law was unconventional. Beginning his career in the women’s fashion industry, he went on to build a successful consulting career across hospitality, advertising, sales, construction, and small business. He later held senior roles as Director and General Manager of Property for two public, unlisted property development companies in Brisbane, as well as a private developer in Sydney.

Dean’s decision to pursue law was shaped by a pivotal life event when his daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of two. Motivated by a long-held ambition to practise law, he completed his legal studies at the University of Wollongong, which provided the flexibility needed to support his family during that time. Through this journey, he recognised the importance of having a solicitor who is not only skilled, but also approachable and genuinely understands clients’ circumstances.

His practice is driven by a strong sense of compassion and a commitment to guiding clients through complex legal situations. With over 20 years of experience running his own businesses, Dean is particularly attuned to the needs of business owners. His extensive background in property development and commercial operations allows him to offer strategic, practical advice, including assistance with joint venture arrangements, mezzanine finance, seed capital raising through prospectuses or offer memoranda, and project-specific trust structures.

Dean’s broad expertise includes:
